Mazel Tov Madi!

Shabbos in West Hempstead was very nice. Simon and Eli had a lot of fun playing with their cousins. Simon is particularly obsessed with Coby who is very patient and willing to play with him. And of course he likes playing with Ezra too. They had a sleepover in Ezra's room and probably stayed up very late, but they were playing nicely and reading books together so we just let it go and they did eventually go to sleep.
We were all a little bit jet-lagged and tired the whole weekend. The boys woke up really early on Friday and Saturday mornings. Friday night, we ate dinner at the JCC because we were a lot of people. Simon fell asleep on David's lap before the soup was even served. He ended up sleeping in the stroller the entire time. Eli stayed up but was very cranky. On Shabbos Huvi had a big kiddush at her house for Madi. It was really nice with good food and good drinks. Emme got a little drunk on too many mojitos. I had a few myself and they were quite yummy.
On Sunday, Huvi and I went shopping with Alli and Madi while David and Freddy took all the boys to a race-car place where everyone gets to control their own remote control car. Simon loved it!
In the late afternoon, Jon came and picked us up and brought us to Teaneck where we had yummy cinnamon chicken for dinner and then went to bed in another jet-lag induced daze.
