When I went to pick up Simon from daycare today, he was having the best time. His friend Francesca (she's actually his ex-girlfriend, but apparently they are still friends) was sitting in Yaya's big chair and Simon was swiveling the chair in circles and saying "wheee." Every time the chair turned so that he and Francesca were facing each other, they would both shriek with laughter. When we got home, he signed a birthday card for David and then threw a complete fit when I took the marker away from him. We all watched Barney and played for a while before Simon ate a delicious dinner of gefilte fish (someone has to eat the leftovers) and vegetables and a pickle. After that it was bathtime, then he peed on the floor in the bathroom and then it was bedtime!
