Overheard

This was the conversation we had in the car on the way to the pool today:

Eli: Uri coming with me in the big pool today?
Me: sorry, Eli but Uri can't come today.
Simon: why not?
Me: because Tali has a meeting at the school where she teaches
Simon: Tali is a teacher?
Me: yes
Simon: is that because she knows everything?

A few minutes later...
Simon: you know Avraham (a boy in his class) is also going to be a teacher when he grows up.
Me: really, did he tell you that?
Simon: no, I just guessed because he also knows everything. He's really smarter. Smarter than me.
Me: But you are also really smart, right?
