Last Thursday, Simon came home from English class with a crossword puzzle to do as homework. I was telling him that Ducky really likes crossword puzzles so we decided it would be fun if they could do it together. I took a picture of the paper and emailed it to Ducky so she could print it out and then we Skyped so that they could do the crossword puzzle together. It was really cute. Simon was surprisingly good at it! He wasn't great at actually reading the clues, but he fairly easily figured out the answers. And he is excellent at spelling words. Seems to be easier for him to try to figure out how to spell a word than it is to sound out and read a word.
