It's Potty Time

Yesterday when Simon got home from school, we had a big talk about peeing on the potty and wearing underwear. He agreed that it was a good idea since his birthday party is on Sunday and he had said that 3 means underwear (he obviously doesn't realize that his birthday is not actually until next Sunday). With the exception of his nap, he wore underwear all afternoon and evening until he went to bed. He actually peed on the toilet about 3 or 4 times and only had one accident in his underwear. He never told us when he had to go, so the times he went were only because we made him. Today, however, he wore underwear all day except for his nap--and he was dry when he woke up and then told me that he needed to go. He now has 11 stickers on his potty chart--9 more and he gets a new train. He's really cute because he insists on taking toilet paper and wiping his tush after he gets off the toilet even though all he's done is peed. He only had one accident this afternoon and that was because Julian was here and he was very distracted. They were playing so nicely and David and I were hanging out with Mark and Audra so we forgot to remind Simon about going to the bathroom.
Eli started eating vegetables. He has had peas and sweet potatoes and he loves them. He'll even eat rice cereal now if I mix it with veggies.
I will post pictures tomorrow after Simon's birthday party at the Little Gym. Hopefully I'll remember to buy the cake!!
