On Tuesday, we all slept in a little bit because we had been up late the night before. David took all the kids to Park Herzliya for a while and Huvi and I ran some errands. Apparently Madi has no fear and was happy to go on the huge rope bridge and down the huge slide. She is a braver soul than I!
They all met us at the mall and we tried to do some shopping but the stores were very crowded and the kids were very rowdy. Eventually we made it to the food court and got some lunch. Alli declared that the pizza at Sbarro was the best pizza she ever had. Clearly she either has terrible taste in pizza or she has had some bad pizza!!
After the late lunch, we decided to take advantage of the good weather since rain/clouds were forecast for the rest of the week and we went to the beach. We figured it would be too cold to actually go in the water so it didn't occur to any of us to bring towels or changes of clothes for the kids. Of course, they all ran in and got soaked but everyone had a great time.
Rather than schlep everyone out for dinner at a restaurant, David went to the supermarket and bought steaks and we had a yummy dinner at home. Then Huvi, Alli and I went back to the mall to finish their shopping. Madi woke up while we were gone and Simon called me and said "I wanted to tell you that it took us a very long time, but me and Dad got Madi to go back to sleep." They weren't all that successful because she was up and playing when we got home. We all stayed up too late yet again!
