Today Eli went to the doctor for his 2 week check-up. He now weighs 9 pounds and 4 ounces, which means he has gained exactly one pound since he was last at the doctor last Monday. He's growing very quickly and seems so big to me, but he's really only 2 ounces bigger than Simon was when he was born!
When Simon got home from Yaya's, he was very excited because Ducky was here. He showed her his cool new race car track toy that TK got for him and they played with it for a long time. Simon totally suckered her into playing "one more time" about 50 times. After she left, David and Simon ate dinner in the kitchen while I fed Eli in the other room. We gave David his birthday present and then David gave Simon a bath and then we all gave Eli a bath. Simon was a very big help.
It only took 35 minutes for David to get Simon to go to bed, so perhaps things are improving. David went out with Dov for his birthday--hopefully both kids (or at least one) will stay asleep until he gets home!!
