Then, Eli sat in Simon's chair and Simon sat in Eli's seat, but Eli was still not happy:

Then Simon sat in Eli's bouncy seat and said "he needs to sit with me" so he did and then he was happy:

That was Simon being a good big brother. More often than not that is how he behaves, but he does still sometimes grab and pinch Eli. Eli is a total drama queen and screams at the top of his lungs at which point Simon just gives him a look like "you are such a wuss" and walks away. It's very nice.
We had a very nice Sukkos. On Friday night, Stephanie and Yehuda and Kara and Dan came for dinner and Simon stayed up and ate with us in the sukkah. Dan was commenting on the lights (which were blinking pomegranites, lemons and grapes) and Simon said to him "you like the fruit lights?" Simon got progressively more hyper as the night went on and he got more and more tired. He finally went to bed when everyone left at around 10 and then slept until 9 on Saturday. We went to shul where Simon played with Zachary. They were playing upstairs and ran around the corner from where I was standing and watching them. I was going to just let them go and figured they'd come back eventually, but luckily Farren followed them because he caught them just getting into the elevator!! We went to Hillary, Farren and Zachary's house for lunch. Simon walked in and said to Hillary "where are the toys?" and then he dumped out a big box of trucks and said to Zachary "you have lots and lots and lots of trucks." They played really well together and hardly had any fights.
We didn't get home until almost 6 and Simon had a quick shower and dinner and went right to bed. Then Sheryl and Bill came for dinner and Eli had his best night yet. He fell asleep around 8:30 all bundled up in his carseat in the sukkah with us. We decided to leave him in the carseat when we went to bed at 11 because he was still sleeping. He slept until 2:30...yup, that is SIX HOURS! David gave him a bottle and then he slept until around 5, ate and slept until 8. I'm not getting my hopes up that this will become a regular occurrence, but it was very nice.
Today we went to the Katzs' for lunch. Simon had fun playing with lots of trucks there and Eli had fun too because he spent almost the entire time taking a nap on the couch with Eitan who is 16 and the nicest kid ever. We got home around 3 and David and Simon napped in Simon's room and I begged and pleaded with Eli to let me take a nap too. He eventually complied and we all slept until almost 6. After dinner, Sophia came to play for a little bit and then it was bathtime and bedtime for both boys.
