My kids didn't do anything particularly interesting yesterday--they were at school and Yaya's all day so I barely saw them anyway. So instead, I have a funny story about Simon and Eli's cousin Bailey. Apparently she thinks her Hebrew name is "Shabbat Shalom." And she goes to a frummy daycare! Now I feel better about Simon's "Jewish" school that is going to be open on Jewish holidays like Sukkot next year!! At least he knows what his Hebrew name is. And he knows some things about Shabbos too. The other day, he climbed up on a chair and was about to turn on the light in the dining room. Suddenly he stopped, looked at me and asked "is it Shabbos?" I said no and he turned on the light.
