Elmo loves his goldfish...his crayon too...that's Elmo's World

Simon had a very nice Shabbos today. He slept late until 8:30, which was so lucky for me because it was my turn to get up with him and David's turn to sleep late. We sat at the table and ate babka for breakfast. He was really cute sitting in a regular chair with his babka on a plate at the table. After breakfast we went upstairs to brush our teeth and on the way up he whispered to me, "hush, DaDa" because he knew that David was sleeping. We went to the park and had a great time going down the slide and playing in the sand. We were the only ones there for a while so Simon had the run of the place. He looked a bit put off when some other kids came to play! We took the long route home and pointed out all of the cars along the way. We went to Annie, Avner and Joshy's for lunch where there was lots of yummy food and Simon loved playing with Joshy and his toys. They were taking turns pushing each other in a car--neither of them are particularly good drivers. When we were getting ready to leave to go to their house, I had put a bottle of wine in a little bag. Simon picked up the bag and hung it on his wrist, put on his hat and my sunglasses, blew me a kiss and said "bye" and went to the door. This evening, Simon read People magazine and again thought President Bush was Papu. Perhaps even funnier was that he saw a picture of Gwen Stefani and said "Mommy!" I'm starting to doubt his intelliegence...
