Simon had a very busy day today. First, we went to music class. This was very exciting because it's a new session in a new place, so we got a new cd to listen to in the car. Simon wasn't so happy in the class at first, but he liked it by the middle and he was dancing and playing with the instruments. I think he thought it was weird that David was there because he never came with us to music class before, so Simon didn't want to sit with him or play with him at all. After music, we went home and parked the car and then we went on the T (the choo-choo is what Simon calls it) to Coolidge Corner to the Brookline 300 celebration. Simon got very excited while we were waiting for the train, but then once we got on it he acted like it's something he does every day and he wasn't overly impressed. We had fun at the street fair--Simon got a balloon and we bumped into the Krams and had lunch with them and Yael and Jesse. Simon got a little bit bored when we were waiting outside Ramis for David to get the food so he sat down and read a book, as you can see in the picture. After the street fair, Simon had a nice nap and then when he got up, Ari was here. He didn't really like Ari as much as he did last time he saw him, but he was pretty impressed by his 2 cell phones and decided that Ari didn't really need both so he hid one inside the seat of his little car. He also helped David and Charles hook up the dreaded X-Box and they even let him play a little bit. I was hoping he would break it, but no such luck! He also watched the laundry in the washing machine for a while and ate some yummy pasta (it's really cute when he says pasta) for dinner. And he made Jen show him her bellybutton over and over and over again. He wanted to show her his too, but he was wearing a onesie and he couldn't find his bellybutton and it was very upsetting to him! After that busy day, it's no wonder that he went into his room and lay down on the floor and said "n'night." I can take a hint!!
