A Trip to Lake Winnepausakee

I can spell "Winnepausakee" almost as well as Simon can pronounce it! We had a great weekend in New Hampshire with the Krams and the Galpers. It was a little bit cold, but the lake was warm enough for a quick swim--the place where we stayed was literally right on the lake and the view was amazing. Simon had a fantastic time playing with Isabella, beating up on Abby and wondering why Elan can't even walk yet. It was really interesting to watch him and Isabella play together because they were actually playing together, as opposed to just next to each other. They kept going into bedrooms and shutting the door and then we'd hear lots of shrieking and laughing. It's unlcear exactly what was going on--we figured this would be something to make fun of them about when they are older. They also found David's car keys and were pressing the buttons to make the door lock and the horn honk over and over and over and over and over again. And, I was having a really hard time getting Simon to sit in his booster seat to eat dinner. He'd scream everytime I'd go near it. Then, as soon as he saw Isabella very nicely sit in her seat to eat dinner, he immediately ran over to his and said "up." When we got home this afternoon, we took a quick trip to the park just in case today was the last nice Sunday before the dreaded winter!
