A Bite-Free Day!

Simon was a very good boy today and didn't bite anyone at daycare. Yaya said that yesterday he only bit one time--right before lunch, he was walking by Felix and he just took a bite out of his foot. Today, she gave him a piece of bread at around 11:00 and he carried it around with him and had something to bite on until lunch. Apparently it worked because he didn't bite anyone. He was very excited when we got to the car and he found one tiny goldfish cracker in his carseat that he must have left there from yesterday. He gasped with excitement when he saw it, ate it, and then spent the whole car ride saying "more cooooookie." He ate a decent dinner and shared it with Brrrrp Brrrrrp, who now has a nice coating of mushroom soup and yogurt. After dinner, he took a box of cereal out of the kitchen and walked around eating it. He put it in the laundry basket and then lifted up the whole basket which is bigger than he is. Unfortunately, we weren't fast enough with the camera, so we settled for putting him in the laundry basket with the cereal for the photo op! For some reason, Simon really did not want to take a bath and he screamed during the whole thing and then he screamed some more when it was time to go to bed--he was crying "more cookie...book...light." Translation: he wanted me to turn the light back on so he could read a book and eat pretzels. I didn't give in and just sat down on his rocking chair with him in the dark until he finally got tired of screaming and very calmly pointed to his crib and said "in" and then gave me a kiss and said "n'night."
