Happy Turkey In Virginia!

It was too hard for Simon to say "happy Thanksgiving" so he just settled for "happy turkey!" Despite the snow in Boston, we were able to get down to Virginia with minimal delays at the airport. Simon was very excited to see the planes at the airport and as soon as we got there he said "oooooh, airplane!" He was pretty well-behaved on the plane--he was very fascinated by watching take-off and landing. When he was littler, he would just watch out at the window as we took off as if it was the most normal thing in the world to go up into the sky. This time he was a little bit more impressed with it.
Joshua and Simon got along really well and even shared Grandy very nicely. Joshua was so nice to him, sharing all of his toys and showing him how to play pool. Joshua also taught Simon (and Papu) his favorite game of jumping off of the ottomans. Simon wasn't so good at that, but after one minor accident he was willing to get back up and try it again! They got along so well, that they even took a fun bath together and then Joshua said that Simon could sleep with him in his bed if he wanted. We decided it might be better to wait until Simon is a little bit older before they have a slumber party, but it was so cute of him to offer!
Oh, and the food was really good too!!
