Cute Tush!

Last night we went to Shira and Dave's for dinner. The Weinstocks were there too and Simon had a great time playing with Jonah. He also gave Elan lots of hugs and at one point, the 2 of them were pulling books off of the bookshelf and Simon put his arm around Elan and gave him a kiss on his head totally unsolicited. Simon was really tired when we got home and he went straight to bed without even a bath.
This morning, he woke up around 8:30 and played with David for a while downstairs. Eventually, I heard him coming up the stairs and I heard David telling him not to wake me up and then I heard him run into my room saying "MOMMY, MOMMY, MOMMY." He got in bed with me and said "n'night" and then of course two seconds later said "MORNIN'!"
We went to potluck lunch at the Scharfs' and Simon had a lot of fun playing with Zachary and Brookie and Carolyn and all of the other kids that were there. He also got to see Uncle Chucky, which was no doubt the highlight of his day. We didn't get home until almost 4, so while we tried to put him in for a nap, that was very unsuccessful. We should have just listened to him when he said "no n'night, no nappy, no n'ight, no nappy." Instead of a nap, he played with cars and then ate dinner and watched football. He was very excited to take a bath and kept trying to climb in to the tub before it was ready.
After we read books, he was drinking his milk and we were saying goodnight to everyone and everything we could think of. We were taking turns and eventually I guess he ran out of ideas because every time it was his turn he either said "n'night choo choo" or "n'night Papu!"
