JCRC Babies Reunion

Today we skipped music class and headed to Sharon for a visit with Ella, Gabrielle, Zakkai, and Leah--all babies born to JCRC people around the same time as Simon. We haven't all gotten together since May and it was fun to see how big everyone has gotten and how they have turned into real people with opinions and ideas. Simon and Leah had a bit of a showdown, but there were no major issues (and no biting!). As we were driving away, Simon said "bye Ella house."
Simon was exhausted when we got home so he played for a little while and watched some tv and then took a very long nap. Grandy woke him up a little after 5 and Simon played with her because David and I weren't home. Grandy taught Simon how to type on the computer and we now have a print-out of what he typed. It is mostly the letter "h" over and over again. When Grandy highlighted everything that he typed on the screen and made it bigger and in blue, Simon said "oooh, nice!"
After Simon finished his dinner, he kept running from the kitchen to Papu's study to say hi to him and then back to the kitchen to have a bite of my veggie burger or challah from David and then back to the study and then back again. Running back and forth provides hours of entertainment. Makes me tired just thinking about it.
When Simon got tired, he took his blanket and BrrrrBrrrrr and the heavier throw that is on the chair in the family room and made himself a little bed on the floor and lay down and said n'night. David lay down next to him and Simon cuddled up to him and said "n'night" and really looked like he was going to sleep. Then all of a sudden he popped up and said "mornin'!" That's another favorite game of his that I think I've mentioned before. He was actually tired though, because he went to bed with no argument after reading 3 books.
